I offer individual supervision services to RSW and RP professionals. I meet the CRPO's requirements for offering supervision to RP's, and I have completed 30+ hours of training specific to offering supervision/consultation services. I am also available to provide consultation for general counselling support for one-off discussion about a specific case or situation.

I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced sexual or intimate partner violence, developmental and relational trauma, as well as working with anxiety, depression, grief, etc. I have been in the field of social work for 10+ years, having worked in both community and in private practice settings. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of working with clients in both worlds and the unique challenges that come with community work and private practice.

Supervision can include, but is not limited to:

• Use-of-self work while working with clients

• Questions around ethics

• Support around caring for oneself as a therapist, exploring topics such as vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and burn out

• Navigating systems as professionals whether as private practitioners or working within an agency

Please note, I do not provide consultation specific to hours needed for EMDR or Somatic Experiencing™ (SE) certification, but welcome questions about these approaches for those considering becoming trained in them.
